The Prince William Jaguars 11th Grade Boys Basketball Team finished second place in the 2012 Super Regional National Qualifying Tournament in Lakewood, New Jersey. The Jaguars earned a DII national bid for AAU.

The Prince William Jaguars Basketball Clinic Program provides players with learning fundamental basketball technique for all players at the age of 9 years old through 17 years old. Clinics are conducted starting March 2012 through July 2012 only. Parents that are interested in having their children learn fundamental skills and basketball knowledge should reach out for more information. Our online registration secure site is available for all returning players and new players who are selected by their team head coach after basketball tryouts. This registration will allow you to provide contact information, sign consents and submit payment. Please read through each page carefully to ensure that all information is provided accurately. After you submit your registration you will be redirected to the payment page where you can complete your team registration. Once payment is processed you will receive confirmation from Prince William County Sports Athletic Organization Incorporated.

Volunteer for Coaching and Board of Directors

If your child is a returning player or being selected to play on the Prince William Jaguars AAU Basketball League and you are interested in a volunteer coaching position or board of director position, please register using the coaches’ registration or board of director links before continuing on with this registration session. You will receive a discount code for volunteering for the organization.

Sibling Discount Program


If you are registering more than one player in your family this season, you will receive a 10% discount on the second and third, (if applicable) child's registration fee. In order for the registration system to recognize that your family is registering multiple players, please register all of your players at this time. On the Summary Page, there is a link near the bottom to "Register Another Player" - please click on this link to ensure that all of your family's players are registered within the same order. Failure to do so will result in a forfeiture of your family's discounted rates.


All team costs are borne by the team membership and put back into the team. Fees will be itemized and collected after the composition of each team is determined each season.

Our team registration cost is very comparable with all other primary AAU Clubs in the Washington D.C. area and is fully inclusive. The fee structure is designed to meet a balance of sufficient competitive tournament play with reasonable travel and extensive practice. 

 

Prior school or recreational coaching experience, experience as a basketball player, and the ability to provide a positive environment for players to learn fundamental skills and team play are significant considerations in the selection and placement of coaches.
The selection criteria are as follows:

1. Receive online application.
2. In-person interview with the Board of Directors.
3. Criminal background check through NAYS, State of Virginia, and Federal.
4. We provide you to take the National Alliance Youth Sports (NAYS) Certification.
5. We provide you to take the AAU Coach Certification- Receive an annual AAU Card.
6. We provide you to take the Coaches Training.
7. We will evaluate all coaches performance.

All coaches are selected on the basis of what is in the best interest of the players and team.

The Prince William Lady Jaguars AAU Girls Basketball League is looking for players who have basketball talents to join our girls’ basketball team at the age of 11 years old through 17 years old. Our girl’s basketball league will gain experience and appreciating the importance of strong competition through girls basketball tournament plays.
